Easy to tie sedge

Ive been neglecting my blog lately, found myself tangled up in to much side projects.
Most of them are organized now :-)

Back to buisness;

Ive started a youtube channel, were you can find a video about this sedge.

(Still learning a lot about filming, photography, editing movie's, feel free to give some tips if you got any.)

Don't be afraid to tie this pattern on heavy hooks, the splashing when it hits the water tends to induce heavy takes. I like to fish this kind of pattern under and around trees or close to the edge against vegetation.
A variation is to tie a hotspot at the back: red, green, yellow,...
In the last step i like to use a spiky dubbing to make an easy and clean head.
Try them out, and let me know how they do in you're river.

Anti snagg streamers.

Just a simple idea ive been using for years now, don't know where is saw it first, but this is a suburb way to pull streamers thru the plants.

With the addition of weights you can balance the streamer and define the action.
